The world is wrong when comparing peace with comfort and they relate this feeling with the acquired achievements, we cannot deny that when there is money, that helps to solve some problems, but we also see how the rich live in anguish despite their wealth.
God offers us a peace that surpasses all understanding, that is, that the world cannot understand since this peace comes to their lives through faith. Christ left, but he left us the comforter that dwells in the hearts of those who receive him. Jesus said my peace I leave you and my peace I give you, and he clarifies that his peace does not compare with that of the world.
The peace of Christ is his very presence in our hearts and makes us feel inner contentment and tranquility. Regardless of the circumstances of life in which the believer has to go, there will always be our comforter to tell us "there is peace in the storm", peace is our trust in God and therefore we receive a wonderful joy.
You will keep in complete peace the one whose thought in you perseveres; because he has trusted in you.
