In our spiritual life we have only one requirement: believing, and of course it must always be accompanied by perseverance.
In everyday life, competitors have to have constant preparation or training to win. While in the spiritual field, our preparation is based on our communion with God.

Anyone who goes astray, and does not persevere in the doctrine of Christ, does not have God; He who perseveres in the doctrine of Christ, he does have the Father and the Son.

Both naturally and spiritually, we will always have obstacles in our walk and it is up to our determination as competitors to get up and move on.

In Revelation 22:12, God reminds us that He is coming soon with a reward that He will deliver according to our works.

We can conclude that our victory depends on ourselves, to try harder every day, to get up if we fall, to change if necessary and to try again, only that we do not lose heart.
