🇪🇸 ~ La primera vez que recuerdo haber escuchado la palabra "scout" fue por las películas estadounidenses de clasificación familiar mas famosas de los años 80s y 90s, producciones llenas de cameos de íconos -la mayoría parodiados- de su cultura. En algún momento le pregunté a mi mamá si en Venezuela existían los "scouts" y me dijo que sí, en Venezuela "los scouts" existen desde 1913, y como dato curioso, el reconocimiento del "Ministerio de Educación Nacional" (hoy llamado "Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Educación") llegó en 1918, siendo así uno de los movimientos educativos juveniles más antiguos del país. >! Durante los años en la universidad tuve amigos que resultaron haber pertenecido a los scouts, contaban historias muy bonitas sobre esa etapa de sus vidas, sobre las pruebas que habían tenido que superar; de ellos recuerdo particularmente el alto sentido de trabajo en equipo y colaboración que tenían, simplemente eran ese tipo de persona que hace mejor cualquier grupo de amigos al que decidan unirse. No pertenecí a los scouts pero hay algo parecido a esta filosofía en algunos miembros de mi familia -los que tenemos entre 30 y 40 años-, de _"estar listo para todo",_ eso gracias a la educación de los miembros de la familia de la generación anterior, los que nos influenciaron en la infancia, aquellos que hicieron carrera como docentes, y carrera militar. _Pero de haber tenido oportunidad, me hubiera encantado pertenecer a los Scouts junto a mi hermano pequeño._ >!
