CHANGING OF EDUCATION COUNSELOR
After 4 months of waiting with no positive feedback from the first counselor, I decided it was time to make some changes to my decision once again, so I decided to go for a second education counselor.
The moment I entered their office, I knew that I came to the right place as the atmosphere was enough to make me feel, how professional and systematic they were when I saw them handling other students who had also come there for advice regarding their interest to study overseas.
As soon as my case was handed to one of their staff, she guided me in all best possible ways she could, giving me suggestions of the universities which was better than the choices I had made as they were the experts in these field. She even helped me in filling forms to send to 2-3 universities in case I get respond faster from either one as not all universities have same requirements, so some universities could end up accepting you faster than the other. Within few days of my application, I got offer letters from 2 different universities. I was very surprise because it didn’t take long for them to get an offer letter for me from those universities as I still had not gotten my offer letter from the first education counselor.
With her advice, I decided to accept both universities and submit my documents as they needed to verify my GTE, so according to her some universities take longer time to verify as their requirements would be different. True enough one of the universities said that my financial document was lacking sometimes and they needed further documents from my side whereas the other university accepts all my documents and requested payment to be done for me to get my COE. Having an expert to guide you was so much easier than following an advice of someone who pretended to be only an expert but knew nothing.
So here I am finally after obtaining a student visa for Australia, being a life as a student once more after 6 years. Though my class has not started, I arrived a month earlier to have fun with my sisters.
Right now I am in an holiday mood as I know studies is not in my mind as I still have 3 weeks more to enjoy without any worries but at the same time I know what will follow after 3 weeks. I know life as an international student in a foreign country is not going to be easy because I have been through this before I started working 6 years ago.
For now, all I know is that I need to have fun to the max, no matter what because tomorrow will bring me headache and pain due to studying. Life as a student is never easy for me.
