Quizás no recuerden sobre el drama de mi nevera, que ya comenté en la comunidad, pero lo peor no ha sido eso, sino el estar sin ese electrodoméstico funcionando durante casi un año, por lo que me puse manos a la obra para comprar uno nuevo.
Luego de que el técnico terminara de dañarla, no hice un nuevo intento por repararla, producto de la falta de dinero, y también del temor por pagar una revisión que no llevara a nada y me dejara más endeudada aún.
Es así que me propuse reunir para adquirir una nueva, que además de venir con garantía, me permita tener tranquilidad por mucho tiempo antes de que empiecen las fallas propias del uso continuado.
Y quizás parezca algo loco, pues mis cuentas están todas en rojo, pero teniendo un objetivo claro, parece que las cosas se van dando de manera milagrosa, y esta vez, tengo fe de que será igual que en otras oportunidades.
Igual tengo la opción de sacarla por crédito, y aunque me resulte un poco más costosa, tendré la nevera en casa, antes de que llegue el verano, que es una temporada en la cual tener los alimentos y el agua en frío es vital.
Es así que me fui una tarde a la tienda por departamentos Coppel, para ver las neveras que tienen en venta, y comprobar precios, inicial y modalidades de pago.
Me entretuve un buen rato viendo una por una, además de abrirlas para verificar la disposición de paneles en su interior, y de todas quedé pendiente con dos modelos, que aunque tienen precios que me resultan un tanto elevados, me dan una idea de cuanto debería ser la inversión, para programar mi ahorro y dar la inicial.
Ese día también me detuve a ver lavadoras, pues quiero una que sea automática, ya que la mía es todo manual, y si bien ha sido una gran ayuda, tener una que también exprima, sería excelente para poder tener la ropa seca en menos tiempo, pues ahora debo dejar que escurra toda el agua y pasan hasta 3 días para poderla recoger del tender.
Obviamente no es mi prioridad ahora comprar una lavadora también, pero como soñar no cuesta nada, también me enamoré de una de las que vi ahí, que además cabría perfectamente en el espacio destinado a la limpieza que hay empotrado en casa.
Por lo pronto, tenemos presupuesto y un objetivo, espero prontamente hacer el unboxing también por esta comunidad y compartir esa alegría que nos da poder equipar la casa con las cosas que deseamos.
You may not remember the drama with my refrigerator—which I already mentioned in this community—but the worst part wasn’t that; it was going without a working refrigerator for almost a year, so I got down to business and bought a new one.
After the technician finished breaking it, I didn’t make another attempt to repair it—partly because I didn’t have the money, and partly because I was afraid of paying for a repair that wouldn’t solve anything and would leave me even deeper in debt.
So I set out to save up for a new one—one that not only comes with a warranty but will also give me peace of mind for a long time before the usual wear-and-tear issues start to show.
And while it might seem a little crazy, since all my accounts are in the red, having a clear goal seems to make things fall into place miraculously, and this time, I have faith that it will be just like it has been on other occasions.
I also have the option of buying it on credit, and even though it might be a little more expensive, I’ll have the refrigerator at home before summer arrives—a season when keeping food and water cold is vital.
So one afternoon I went to the Coppel department store to look at the refrigerators they have for sale and check prices, down payments, and payment plans.
I spent quite a while looking at them one by one, as well as opening them up to check the layout of the panels inside, and out of all of them, two models caught my eye. Although their prices are a bit high for me, they give me an idea of how much I’d need to invest so I can plan my savings and come up with the down payment.
That day I also stopped to look at washing machines, since I want an automatic one—mine is completely manual—and while it’s been a great help, having one that also spins would be excellent for getting my clothes dry faster. Right now, I have to let all the water drain out, and it takes up to three days before I can take them off the clothesline.
Obviously, buying a washing machine isn’t my priority right now, but since dreaming costs nothing, I also fell in love with one of the models I saw there—one that would fit perfectly in the built-in laundry area we have at home.
For now, we have a budget and a goal. I hope to soon do an unboxing video for this community as well and share the joy we feel from being able to furnish our home with the things we want.
