Good afternoon! Happy Sunday! So I posted earlier in the week showing some of the crochet items I’ve been working on, I thought I’d show some of the items I’ve made using a new technique I learned not to long ago!

Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed dolls, animals or creatures with yarn. The word is a mixture of the two Japanese words , ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll.

Amigurumi Originated in , Japan where it’s been used for many , many decades! It has become a lot more popular world wide in the last few years.
Pikachu “ I chose you!”
Making these “usually” small fugues is quite tedious & takes time. It is crocheted using the same basic stitches as we do for the common crochet , only it’s smaller, tighter & u use a lot more of those little stitches to create them.
