Hello everyone in the Hive community! I'm MalZla, and I'm thrilled to be making my first post here, all the way from Mandalay, the cultural heart of Myanmar (Burma).
I've been watching the growth of this decentralized platform and finally taking the leap into Web3 feels incredibly exciting. I wanted to use this introduction to share a bit about myself, my beautiful city, and what I plan to contribute to this vibrant ecosystem.
Mandalay: A City of Kings and Golden Sunsets
For those unfamiliar, Mandalay was the last royal capital of Myanmar. The city is rich in history and culture. Right at its centre is the magnificent Mandalay Palace, surrounded by a stunning moat. Everywhere you turn, you'll find ancient pagodas, monasteries, and incredible artistry.
My favorite part of living here is the daily dose of beauty, especially the sunsets. Whether I'm on Mandalay Hill looking over the city or along the Irrawaddy River, the sky turns into a spectacular canvas of gold and crimson. These moments of peace and beauty inspire me every day. It's truly a city where tradition meets the hustle of modern life.
Why I Chose Hive and Web3
I’m drawn to the core philosophy of decentralization. On Hive, I appreciate that I have ownership over my content, my data, and my voice. The Proof-of-Brain concept is a powerful incentive, rewarding those who create quality posts and actively participate in the community.
