Hive was designed to be like YouTube(but better?), the difference is that its economy is tied to a crypto asset.

If Hive wants to stop being a place creators can earn from "blockchain-integrated" incentives then that's fine, but restassured that would mean it loses its original design and some new fork will likely surface.
