Hoy es un día bastante especial porque hace 321 años se fundó la ciudad de Maracay
La ciudad que me vio nacer, ubicada en el Estado Aragua, en la República Bolivariana de Venezuela...
Más que hablarte de historia, que es bastante importante y que además la verás en los próximos episodios... Te voy a nombrar 5 cosas interesantes de la ciudad de Maracay
- Puedes encontrarte en la misma ciudad, específicamente en el Municipio Girardot, la presencia del lago de Valencia que limita con el Edo. Carabobo. Y también el Parque Nacional Henri Pittier con un clima espectacular, lleno de hermosa vegetación y diversas especies, para luego encontrarte con la hermosa playa de Choroni, siendo la playa uno de los lugares favoritos de los maracayeros.
- En esta ciudad ha nacido varias reinas de bellezas, que nos han representado en los concursos más relevantes nacionalmente e internacionalmente como el Miss Venezuela entre ellas Mariangel Ruiz, Siudy Mijares, a miss mundo Pilin Leon y también al Miss Universo entre ellas se encuentran Alicia Machado.
- Es la cuna de la aviación militar y cuando era más joven los fines de semana podías deleitarte de los uniformes impecables de los militares transitando por la ciudad o visitando a sus familiares, algo que siempre ha llenado de historia a Maracay y de orgullo a muchos maracayeros.
- También ha sido una ciudad que ha recibido a los llaneros, para que estudien carreras emblemáticas como agronomía y veterinaria, en la hermosa Universidad Central de Venezuela.
- Ha sido casa para recibir a grandes coleadores en la manga de coleo de San Jacinto y peloteros a través de los tigres de Aragua y escuelas de béisbol infantil.
Mis felicitaciones a los maracayeros este día, por sentirnos orgullosos de nuestra hermosa cuidad, que durante muchos años ha sido bautizada la Ciudad Jardín ❤
