I got down to my property today to bring down more materials, and meet up with a rep from ADT about a security system for the Surthrival Trailer. I had a security system at the city house and my contract allowed me to transfer the system or pay off the rest of the contract. I talked to ADT about my situation and they will be able to give me a system that can help me track and alert me if their is any intruder/theif.
A while ago I made a post showing the set up for part of a water catchment I was setting up. I got some great suggestions on using a tank before my main Ibc tank to fill and overflow. I brought down my old rain barrel with the screen material to help filter out larger particles coming off my roof.
I had to dig out the spot where the barrel would go a little more. I still want to dig out the area for the ibc tote a little more. I will install a 2" pvc pipe at the top of the 55 gallon barrel that will overflow into the 270gallon tote.
I walked about the property a little to scope out what was growing and the wild blackberries are getting ripe and are super abundant!
I busted my dji phantom standard drone to get some footage of the property before I start working to clear it.
I also mounted my dry erase board that used to be in my house, so I can list out projects and draw up ideas.
I brought out my chainsaw, and got to work to take down several small pine trees that have grown in an area that I will turn into a parking area and campsites for people who wish to visit.
There is now enough room for me to circle around and leave the property without having to sashay the trailer.
I've got the trailer organized a bit better and will continue making improvements as I prove out its capabilities to help me develop the property.
I'll be making trips to get more established down on the land. I'm going to finish up the aquaponics project I started at my folks then keep moving forward developing the land.
Thank you for checking out my post! Hope y'all had a wonderful day.
Yours in Liberty toward a brighter future,
