One of the first lesson that I learned in my work was about the importance to exercise my creativity using my hand, my eye and my mind too ^_^
Yes, you can excercise your creativity!
Looking around, I found some interesting articles and researches about the connection between exercise and creativity.

The first article that I found is about the physical exercise:
Creativity is a product of cognitive function and some studies found a relationship between the creativity and the physical exercises. For example, from 1985 to 1987, researchers found significant effects for 3 measures of creativity after physical exercise program (one of them was aerobic dance!!!):
- Alternate Uses (spontaneous flexibility)
- Remote Consequences (originality)
- Obvious Consequences (different ideas)
(for more information about these studies, look here)
If you don't love the aerobic dance, don't worry, I found another study about the effects of ambient noise:
the researchers demonstrated that a moderate-low level of ambient noise increases creative tasks, because noise increases processing difficulty, inducing a higher construal level and thus promoting abstract processing, which subsequently leads to higher creativity (source)
However, an hight level of noise hurts creativity.
