I sometimes wonder when people post about charts and technical analysis, whether they actually put their money where their mouth is

Pretty obvious that most do not, but that goes for the talking heads on TV and crypto social media too :)

Not sure where I heard it first but someone once said, don't let someone poorer than you tell you how to manage your money. It's amazing how many people DO let poorer people give them advice. Not just here, with people who are broke telling the rest of us how the market is going to move, but we turn to parents, teachers, shopkeepers, mortgage brokers, bank tellers and listen to them over our own best interests.

I remind my wife every time a shop assistant is snooty with her as if my wife is a thief, even though the snooty salesperson couldn't afford to buy what she is selling.
