No, the "road to nowhere" is verifiable based on use and cost, and if people can engineer cars, flat places to drive them are nothing in comparison.

Look up how expensive it is to build a proper road and then maintain it. Rural roads will never return enough financial investment fast enough for a private entity to fund the build and maintenance. This includes all the nowhere places we fly over to get to not-nowhere places. Farm-workers certainly can't pay for it.

"Nowhere" is where our food etc comes from. People have to live and work in these communities for us to get fed. You might say "obviously! it is common sense" except these communities are constantly having to plea and fight to get basic infrastructure, sometimes they even get thrown a bone, most of the time not enough, so somehow it is not common sense at all.
