Except I am not wrong, we can both be right. Google "rural infrastructure". You will see all the problems North America has from under-funding rural infrastructure.

You are talking about housing developments, and I am talking about things like our western food security and supply chain, but also basic human empathy.

Every single day people struggle because their fellow community members don't see why they should pay for something that benefits someone else. We also see it in the Hive project funding, projects don't get funded sometimes because other people don't see the value, not because they are value LESS.

Consider public transport routes. I drive a car, why should I pay for a public transport I don't even use!?

Schools, my daughter graduated, why should I pay for schools to be refurbished/built/funded?
