The problem I see is it encourages people to post single sentence posts all day, while many of the old-school here, especially some of the more influential folks, see more than one post per day as spam.

IMO it would work better if the "tweets" were a reply to a parent post, then the tweets wouldn't show up as articles.

I can see it being a situation that at least causes the issue to be resolved one way or another :)
