Remember I have a free WordPress plugin that allows you to publish on Hive and then pull that into WP as a new post (including the images), with translation from markdown to HTML :)

At least in the past, people were buying Hive tokens for online games as much as speculation, but there were attempts at making Hive commerce a thing - did that go anywhere?

It's funny because on Steem most of the currency was purchased to promote content for visibility and votes to make more steem
