One of the great things about having digital fabrication tools at home is that when you need something specific and quickly you can just go ahead and make it.
While I also have 3D printers and CNC machines, I tend to turn to the laser cutter most because it just feels fast and easy.
We often think of laser cutters as being 2/2.5D but as you can see, 3D just means thinking, um... outside the box 馃槀
