Maybe instead of recklessly saying reopen everything right away, there is a middle road of cautiously and thoughtfully managing measures such as distancing, masks, occupancy limits, keeping most vulnerable locked down, etc while gradually opening up isn't so bad after all?
Not sure how people think there is an economy (outside of the fake "rich people's feelings" economy called the stock market) without human beings confidently patronizing the businesses folks want to reopen.
I mean, there will be still folks who believe #Qbert and YouTubers who say it is all fake, but the rest of us can limit the damage to a minimum ...
