One day 20 years ago, Koichi Hanada, the head of the village, accidentally saw the rice-growing children pictured in an extracurricular project, and the idea of planting rice with a painting design in the field was rekindled.

The result was an unexpected success, from a small town not known, Inakadate rose to become a tourist destination of Japan famous in the world with rice fields art. So far, more than 150,000 visitors visit this place each year. There are 12 different types of rice with 7 separate colors. At the same time, they look very similar and difficult to distinguish, but when they become big rice, especially when the rice is about to ripen, the art will show up very clearly. The precision of the technology allows the images to be so detailed that many people are skeptical of what they see with their own eyes.
