Rotterdam is unique in a lot of ways. If you think about Holland most people will say Amsterdam, but Rotterdam is gaining a lot of interest the last years. Most of them come from Surinam, a small country ( small, but even 4.5 the size of The Netherlands) located South America, above Brazil.
Rotterdam is famous from its skyline. It's lovely at night. The tallest building is the Maastoren, which is 165 meters heigh. Deloittle and AKD (legal advisors) are housvested in the Maastoren and about 1.550 employees are working here every day. That's a lot with only 600.000 inhabitants in this municpilaty.
