Hello new friends of Amazing Nature this is my article for the ROADS competition, which has started in this community.

The pattern or path I chose, was the Spider webs, I got many in a house I visited, and looking for some others to photograph, I saw these and they seemed more curious, although much more difficult to capture.

As everyone knows, these spider webs are real almost microscopic webs that spiders weave to trace a path, very close to where they live through which to move, and mostly to trap other insects, which get entangled in that tiny mesh. In fact in the photos I took, not very well done I must confess, you can see some remains of insects still trapped in that fatal web.

I have spent time observing the behavior of spiders in terms of their hunting strategy, first because I find it fascinating, although a bit cruel, it is structured and patiently premeditated in order to take prisoner the insects that pass around them. I also find incredible the ability of these insects to weave these tiny nets almost invisible and very resistant at the same time, it is a unique quality that distinguishes them from other insects, or at least if there is one with a similar talent I do not know it.

Anyone who has tried to clean these fabrics at home may have noticed that they are elastic and do not break easily, they are moldable, which I imagine makes it much more difficult for the prey to escape from its captor, I imagine that the more it tries to get away the more it gets entangled by the sticky characteristics of the fabric.

In my own home I have a spider web that I have not wanted to clean, even though the spider is quite large for its standards, unfortunately I am not in my city, near my domestic spider for this article. I usually spend time watching it in all its splendor and in full hunting, when small insects such as mosquitoes or mosquitoes attracted by the light fly around that place, and I see how it waits for the insect to get tired of fighting to approach it, and give itself a final feast that sometimes can last for days.

Even if it sounds terrifying even to me as a spectator, it is a scene of living nature in all its brilliance, and for me it is unique how something so simple can be so overwhelming, in the spider patience, method and strategy are combined. A luxury that gives us our Amazing Nature.

Hope you can see in both pictures the spiders and her little nets, they was taken in differentes places in the house.
