In a video recorded by Nippon TV's weather camera, a mysterious blue-light object moved across the sky off the northern coast of Japan within about 15 seconds before disappearing from the frame.
Experts say the mysterious fireball in the sky of Japan can be a brighter than normal.
"Fireballs are a form of meteors that are brighter than normal. It has the same brightness as Venus in the sky in the early morning or night. Meteors usually explode when dropped into the Earth's atmosphere and create debris that can be seen with the naked eye, "the American Meteorologist explained.
Fireballs are relatively common because thousands of meteors fly into the Earth's atmosphere every day.
"Most of the fireballs appear at sea and in non-populated areas. They are only visible at night, but this time very few people are out, so the opportunity to record this phenomenon is still very low, "said the American Meteorological Association.
