This summer we visited Morocco again. This time we went south to Marrakech and from there on we travelled further. First we spent some days in Marrakech. We found a nice read (guesthouse) on booking.com in the center of the Medina. Its very busy in the Medina but all places worth a visit are very close.
In the Medina (old city) you find all these little streets which is great to get walk around. Nice little shops with food and artisanal products.
One of the highlights of Marrakech is the Koutoubia mosque. Its the biggest mosque of Marrakech.
Another highlight is center square Djema El Fna, where you can find all the soukhs.
In the soukhs (markets) you can walk for hours and do great shopping. Don't forget to discuss about the price.
After a day of shopping it's time to get some good food: tajine with some sweets after.
