Technique: Pencil on manufactured cardboard

It's a privilege to join this community for the first time to share this sketch with you.
A few days ago, I discovered this wonderful space and was motivated to reconnect with one of my passions: drawing. It had been a while since I'd drawn like this, so I spent a good part of my Sunday discussing this idea, which, as you'll see, is still in progress. However, it was a good exercise to prove that despite the "rust," by practicing, I'll be able to get back to my rhythm and improve my skill.
The Process
To begin, I selected a piece of manufactured cardboard because the texture is incredibly rich when drawing. I took a pencil and some colored pencils and let the image flow.
I began composing this portrait, which illustrates a bit of my latest poems, dedicated to autumn; that's why I decided to include some elements associated with this season.
A melancholic lady with her hair blowing in the wind and a headdress of branches and nuts is the image I'm trying to capture.

Es un privilegio llegar a esta comunidad por primera vez para compartirles este boceto.
Hace algunos días descubrí este maravilloso espacio y quedé motivada a reencontrarme con una de mis pasiones: el dibujo. Hacía bastante tiempo que no dibujaba de esta manera, así que dediqué buena parte de mi domingo a plantear esta idea que, como verán, aún está en proceso. Sin embargo, fue un buen ejercicio para comprobar que a pesar del "óxido", rescatando la práctica podré volver a mí ritmo y mejorar en cuanto a la destreza.
El proceso
Para comenzar seleccioné una pieza de cartón manufacturado pues la textura es riquísima a la hora de dibujar. Tomé lápiz y algunos lápices de color y dejé fluir la imagen.
Fui componiendo este retrato que ilustra un poco mis últimos poemas, dedicados al otoño; por ello decidí incluir algunos de elementos que se asocian con esta época estacional.
Una dama melancólica con los cabellos a merced del viento y cuyo tocado de ramas y frutos secos, es la imagen que trato de plasmar.
Espero que les resulte agradable y que me dejen sus impresiones y consejos al respecto. Cualquier criterio será muy bien recibido.
