Last night, our childhood rock star Chester Bennington of Linkin Park killed himself to free from this world and miseries; leaving two wives, six children and millions of fans/lovers and enthusiasts behind in shock to grieve about him. I won't talk about his musical legacy because everyone is busy doing so; the important thing that needs to be discussed is his mental health. Chester was depressed. His mental condition was not normal like any of us. He wasn't happy inside his brain and all that kept building on him. Last night, he didn't committed suicide. But he actually sat himself 'free' from all the things that were battling inside his brain. Did you ever paid attention to Linkin Park's music? The lyrics of their songs? Or the lyrics that he penned down? 95% of his music was about himself being trapped in his mental problems, hallucinations, unhappiness, sadness, depression, failures and etc. Mental health is as important as physical health and its about time we should look and take care of this. Its a small request: please talk to people around you about their worries, problems and issues. Don't leave them with their ghosts. Help others and let them talk about what's going inside their head.. because physical illness will kill you once but mental illness.. it kills you every hour. Every day.
