This picture is of Gauri Shankhar, mountain among the Himalayas which lies near the western edge of Rolwaling mountain, about 100 K.m. northeast of Kathmandu. This mountain lies in Dolkha district. This mountain has two summits, namely Shankar (a manifestation of lord Shiva) and Gauri (a manifestation of lord Shiva's consort).
