Lionel Messi. Not just a name. But much much more than that. The world's entertainer. Football's very own Picasso. The right side of a football pitch has been decorated like the Mona Lisa of it's kind. Messi is 34 today.
Throughout his playing career he has achieved everything. But sometimes all a man needs is a specific piece, to complete his masterpiece. Messi had it all. But people will always looked for each other's flaws. Messi won everything with Barcelona. But had nothing with Argentina.
With Argentina he had previously reached ths finals of Copa America and once in the World Cup. But has failed in all of the occasions. Messi being the world's best player was only one trophy away. A trophy with Argentina.
Argentina's hero still remains Diego Maradona. Giving them the only two world cups in their history.Just that day, messi has finally won it. The Copa America. That too beating arch rivals Brazil. In a game of nerves Argentina wins it 1-0.
Football was in messi's debt. Football owed this magician a trophy with his country. The debt has finally been repaid. Messi is finally complete. A player who has conquered everything. Simply, the best ever.
