Disha established herself in Hindi cinema with the film M.S Dhoni : The Untold Story released in the year 2016, opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. The movie was a huge commercial success and Disha also won Screen Award for Best Female Debut, IFFA Award for Star Debut of the year Female and Stardust Award for Best Acting Debut for the movie.
She also did a music video opposite Tiger Shroff which received as much as 32 Million views on YouTube within a week's time. Disha was also a part of Jackie Chan's movie project Kung Fu Yoga in the year 2017 which made 1200 cr.
In 2016, she was the most searched Bollywood Actress in India on Google and boasts of having nearly 7 Million followers on Instagram. She grabbed a lot of eye-balls for her sultry photoshoot shoot, which she did for Dabboo Ratnani's Calendar 2017.
