**INGLÉS** When it comes to visiting the countryside and mountainous areas of Sucre state, adventure and fun are always guaranteed. The mountainous terrain, the presence of rivers, and beautiful views make every trip a wonderful experience. During my visit to the town of Cedeño on the Cumaná-Cumanacoa national highway, we took a short tour of this beautiful and charming town nestled in the mountainous region of the state. The national highway is situated among mountains and hills that create a stunning landscape. After stopping in the town of Tatartacual, we headed towards Cedeño. To add more fun to the adventure, a group decided to walk to explore the area, get a closer look at the rivers, take photos, buy supplies, and more. After walking for about half an hour, we arrived in Cedeño. This town is characterized by its two suspension bridges at the entrance, made of iron, pipes, and thick beams. Crossing this bridge is truly fun, because when you're about halfway across, it starts to sway, which is my favorite part. Several young people in the group positioned themselves at the end of the bridge, and as we crossed, they jumped to make it sway. Many of the girls were afraid to cross because they thought the bridge might collapse. While crossing, I focused on enjoying the journey, swaying included, in the company of my son. From the bridge, you can see the river and the numerous rocks that characterize rivers coming from the mountains. This town is crossed by several waterways. The Cedeño River, coming from the mountains, and the Manzanares River, which passes through the city of Cumaná, have a faster flow than the Manzanares River, but the latter has a wider channel.

**ESPAÑOL** Cuándo se trata de visitar el campo y sectores montañosos del estado Sucre la aventura y diversión siempre están garantizadas, el relieve montañoso, la presencia de ríos y hermosas vistas, hacen de cada recorrido una linda experiencia; durante mi visita a la población de Cedeño en la carretera nacional Cumaná - Cumanacoa hicimos un pequeño recorrido por este hermoso y encantador pueblo enclavado en la zona montañosa del estado, la carretera nacional se encuentra ubicada entre montañas y colinas que crean un hermoso paisaje. Luego de hacer una parada en la población de Tatartacual, nos dirigimos hacia Cedeño y para agregarle más diversión a la aventura, un grupo decidió irse caminando para observar el lugar, ver de cerca los ríos, tomar fotos en el área, comprar provisiones y más, después de caminar aproximadamente media hora llegamos a Cedeño este pueblo se caracteriza por tener en la entrada dos puentes colgantes, que están elaborados con hierro, tubos y vigas gruesas, pasar este puente es realmente muy divertido, pues cuando vas aproximadamente por la mitad empieza a balancearse y es mi parte favorita, varios jóvenes del grupo se ubicaban en la parte final del puente y cuando íbamos cruzando saltaban para que este se balanceara, muchas de las chicas tenían miedo al pasar, porque pensaban que el puente se podía caer, mientras cruzaba me enfoqué en disfrutar la travesía con el balanceo incluido en compañía de mi hijo; desde el puente observas el río y las numerosas rocas que caracterizan a los ríos provenientes de la montaña, este pueblo es atravesado por varios cursos de agua; el río Cedeño proveniente de la montaña y el río Manzanares que pasa por la ciudad Cumaná, el caudal del primero es más rápido y el segundo un tanto lento pero el cauce es más amplio.

Both bridges have a sheet metal base, topped with several pipes and wire mesh forming the walkway. Below, several iron bars support the bridge; in fact, these bars and an iron support pipe, which is attached to the main column made of very thick pipes, are visible in the photograph. Iron cables also provide support for the bridge, ensuring safe passage. According to a resident, there have never been any accidents or collapses on the bridge since its construction. To date, it has been a safe crossing for the inhabitants of this region, including for motorcycles and bicycles. To extend the life and usefulness of the first bridge, a second bridge was built, and both serve as a footbridge, providing access from the main avenue to the town of Cedeño. What I enjoyed most about the journey was the beautiful mountain view, and you can also see the many rocks that form the riverbed. Since it's a high-altitude area, in addition to motorcycles and bicycles, donkeys are one of the animals most commonly used to carry food supplies to the upper mountain region. The path is quite narrow and steep in some areas. For added comfort and safety, they attach a natural fiber basket to each side of the donkey to store the goods. These baskets are also used during harvest time to transport the crops to homes. At the top, the bridge has several cables that provide support and stability. In the following photograph, we have a complete view of the bridge entrance, the main column, and the railings that are attached to other tubes. The cables securing the bridge are also visible. Additionally, there is a view of the other bridge with its respective cables and several tubes located along its length to ensure safe passage across this iron walkway that sways as you walk.

Ambos puentes cuentan con una base de lámina de hierro, la cual tiene la parte de arriba varios tubos y alambre de alfajol que forma la caminería, en la parte inferior, hay varias barras de hierro que sustentan el puente, de hecho, en la fotografía se observan estas barras y un tubo de hierro que sirve de soporte, el cual a su vez está unido a la columna principal que está formada por tubos muy gruesos, los cuales brindan soporte al puente, también hay guayas de hierro, para asegurar el paso por este puente. Según información de una residente nunca, se han registrado accidentes en el puente o desplomes desde su construcción, hasta la actualidad ha sido un paso seguro para los habitantes de esta región, incluyendo el uso de motos y bicicletas; para prolongar la vida y utilidad del primer puente, se construyó un segundo puente y ambos funcionan como pasarela, para ingresar desde la avenida principal hasta el pueblo de Cedeño, lo qie más me gustó del recorrido fue la vista de la montaña es muy hermosa y se observa también la presencia de muchas rocas que forman el lecho del río, como es una zona alta, además de las motos y bicicicletas, el burro es uno de los animales que más se utiliza para llevar las cargas de comida, a la zona alta de la montaña, el camino en algunas áreas es bastante angosto y empinado, para más comodidad y seguridad le colocan una cesta de fibra natural a ambos lados, en ellas guardan los productos, también son usados en el tiempo de recoger la cosecha y transportarla a los hogares. En la parte de superior el puente tiene varias guayas que le dan soporte y firmeza, en la siguiente fotografía tenemos una vista completa de la entrada del puente, la columna principal y las rejas que están unidas a vez otros tubos también se observan las guayas que aseguran el puente, además una vista del otro puente con sus respectivas guayas y varios tubos ubicados a lo largo del puente, para asegurar el paso por esta pasarela de hierro que se balancea a medida que avanzas.

Next, we have a side view of the bridge, its base structure, the tubes along its length, and the lower support bars. Then, a shot shows the bridges covered by vegetation and nestled among the mountains. The river is also visible, and the sunlight reflecting off the water creates a mirror effect. As I mentioned before, the bridge has a wire mesh walkway, several meters high for safe and easy crossing. Crossing the bridges was a wonderful adventure, a mix of adrenaline and excitement. At first, I wasn't sure, but since I had crossed the bridge before, I relaxed and enjoyed the view and the journey. I made several stops, observing the mountain and the bridge structure and thinking about how man's ingenuity creates these structures to facilitate passage over a waterway. I only took a few photos from the bridge because I focused on contemplating the place and the beautiful landscape of the bridges surrounded by vegetation and the mountain in the background and entrance. After crossing the bridge and carrying the utensils, we set up a fire and the girls, experts in the kitchen, got to work preparing a delicious soup cooked over a wood fire.

A continuación tenemos una vista lateral del puente, su estructura en la base, los tubos ubicados en el trayecto y las barras inferiores que sirven de soporte, luego una toma donde se aprecian los puentes cubierto por la vegetación y ubicados entre la montaña, también se observa el río y la incidencia de los rayos solares en el agua creando un efecto de espejo, como lo mencioné anteriormente, el puente tiene alambre de alfajol que forman la pasarela, tiene varios metros de alto para pasar seguros y tranquilos, recorrer los puentes fue una linda aventura mezclada con adrenalina, al principio no estaba segura, pero como había pasado por el puente anteriormente, me relajé y disfruté la vista y el recorrido. Hice varias paradas, observando la montaña y la estructura del puente y pensando como el ingenio del hombre crea estas estructuras para facilitar el paso por un curso de agua, solo tomé pocas fotos desde el puente porque me enfoqué en contemplar el lugar, y el hermoso paisaje de los puentes rodeados por la vegetación y la montaña al fondo y entrada, luego de cruzar el puente y llevar los utensilios armamos un fogón y las chicas expertas en la cocina, se pusieron manos a la obra para preparar una deliciosa sopa cocinada en leña.
