When we were traveling northward, we went through a SMALL town in Louisiana called Transylvania! Here is the water tower in the town and a map showing where it is located - in case anyone else wants to find it :).
It had a very lazy, laid back feel to it. And, I did not see any vampires. Darn. LOL
