A Poem of life
Just between you and me

Just between you and me…
Nothing’s as it seems to be…
Not the jack on the corner,
nor the jill in the dormer.
Everyone is lost,
Everything’s a cost,
That we are not willing
To make.
Life is to be loved,
Not to be used,
As a means to an end,
For me or for you.

So, bring out your fiddle
Or bring out your wine.
Just do not forsake yourself
Even one more time.
Life is for living,
Life is for fun,
Love what you’re doing and
Do what you love.
In the world outside,
Oh lord, we have tried,
To bring what we need -
Just a little wee bit of glee…
