Hello Everybody!

The time you have all been waiting for has arrived! Week 44 of #zencolouringcontest ended yesterday, and now to announce the winners!

So without further ado, let's get on with the show(case)!

Firstly lets announce the Community Favourite,

In 3rd place:

I picked this one because I love the vibrant colour palette and the pattern created by the placement of the colours. The use of black within sections of the design accentuates the pattern and makes the other colours stand out!

In 2nd place:

I chose this one because I love the subtle use of extra colours. The shades of oranges blend well with the yellow and the small detail of blue contrasts the colours nicely and helps divide the pattern making it more visible. I also like the shading within the planets that adds shape and depth. The glow shading on the rings is a nice touch and works well with the chosen background!

And in 1st place:

I picked this one as the winner because I love how the individual planets have their own separate colour palettes, it makes them all unique and highlights the patterns they contain. I like the different tones of red, yellow and orange used to colour the sun, the gradient between the colours makes a beautiful pattern and gives the sun movement. I also like the choice of background, it fits the theme wonderfully!
