Hello Everybody!
The time you have all been waiting for has arrived! Week 22 of #zencolouringcontest ended earlier today, and now to announce the winners!
So without further ado, let's get on with the show(case)!
In 3rd place:
@meme.elena
I chose this one because of the digitally hand-drawn shading and colour palette used. The colours used are vibrant and contrast well with the black and gray. The shading within the coloured sections and gray body of the dolphin gives the image depth and dimension. Paired with the cleverly created background, a whole underwater scene has been made!
In 2nd place:
@leena2590
I picked this one because of the very clever use of negative space and opacity. The colour scheme is pleasant and contrasts well with the featured colour and background. The pattern that is created by leaving some blank/transparent spaces and colouring others is very striking. The swirling effect in the background is an excellent final touch!
And in 1st place:
@losthippie
I chose this as the winner because of its bright neon colour palette and original minimal use of the featured colour. The patterns in each section by the psychedelic colours are incredibly eye catching and have a very nice stained glass effect. That effect in the background is especially astonishing, the rainbow of swirls and crackles accentuates the black in the back and brings the whole image together!
The corresponding prize will be sent when the contest post pays out!
