Hello Everybody!
The time you have all been waiting for has arrived! Week 17 of #zencolouringcontest ended earlier today, and now to announce the winners!
So without further ado, let's get on with the show(case)!
In 3rd place:
I picked this one because I really liked the use of negative space to create the pattern among the colours. The subtle use of the featured colour to frame the sections is clever and the animated center is the cherry on top!
In 2nd place:
I chose this one because I love the colour palette, the pleasant pastel colours compliment each other and the featured colour nicely. It draws the eye in and has a calming and soft aura about it. The pastel colours also remind me of a sweet from my childhood, a roll of Refresher Pastels!
And in 1st place:
I picked this one as the winner because of the super colourful rainbow pattern created by the stained glass effect of the coloured sections. The block filled sections help divide the transparent patterns and adds to the glass texture. The combination of their own Zen Rainbow inspiration and my Tesseract inspiration shines through as a beautiful prism of light!
The corresponding prize will be sent when the contest post pays out!
