In this battle, @Anuk did an excellent job of using Shieldbearer to taunt and direct all damage to the front while putting Venator Kinjo behind Shieldbearer to negate the effects of the blast from "Explosive Weaponry," effectively protecting his backline from the blast damage!
Additionally, Anuk uses Adelade Brightwing to support Shieldbearer with "Repair," making sure Shieldbearer survives despite all the damage getting directed at it due to using "Taunt".
Finally, I can infer that Anuk chose Delwyn Dragonscale to boost the magic damage for Adelade Brightwing and Captain Katie, in order to easily subdue the opponent's tank, Living Lava,as it has no protection against magic damage.
The battle ends as Captain Katie easily stacks the "bloodlust" buff in Rounds 2 and 3, enough for the magic damage to be too unbearable for the enemy team and eventually winning the battle by landslide! Excellent performance, @Anuk! ๐ฅ
@Wednesdays used Goblin Thief and Katrelba Gobson in this battle, both low-health monsters with decent damage.
The decision to use low-health monsters in this match was extremely beneficial to Wednesdays' success because these monsters (Goblin Thief, Katrelba Gobson) are generally balanced to have lower health in exchange for higher-than-average damage, as most sneak monsters are, allowing them to fully utilize the ruleset "Equalizer."
Wednesdays' use of Failed Summoner in the front effectively counters the opponent's Venari Bonesmith and Life Sapper, rendering their ability "Life Leech" useless due to their inability to stack Health.
The opponent's backline is taken down one by one per round as the match progresses, and eventually Goblin Thief and Katrelba Gobson reach the opponent's Venari bonesmith and Life Sapper.
The match ends as Venari Bonesmith and Life Sapper succumb to the damage dealt by Goblin Thief and Katrelba Gobson, eventually leaving the opponent's team with no damage dealers and Wednesdays winning this match. Good job, @wednesdays! ๐ฅ
@Vrezyy is simply too awesome in this battle! To avoid being affected as much by the earthquake ruleset, Vrezyy had two options: use a monster with "flying" ability to be immune to the damage or use a monster with "shield" and armor to atleast lessen the damage taken. However, at low-mana, there aren't many monsters to choose from that have "Flying" and also have decent damage/health, so it had to be melee due to the limited mana cap.
So, in these circumstances, Vrezyy chose the latter, a melee monster with "Shield," and decent armor, Chaos Knight.
As the round began, Lava Spider did no damage to vrezyy's Chaos Knight because of "Shield" and all the damage by Radiated Brute was mostly absorbed by Chaos Knight's armor.
Chaos Knight's damage, combined with the earthquake's damage, reduced Radiated Brute to near 0 hp in just the first round!
After Radiated Brute was defeated, all that was left was Lava Spider, who couldn't attack in front and couldn't even deal damage from behind due to "Shield" in the first place. This match is over. Awesome play, @Vrezyy! ๐ฅ
That's all for the recap guys, thanks for making it to the end! โฅ
