Did you ever get an answer to this? I'm trying to setup a small ipfs node to "auto pin" videos and related assets that I upload to d.tube.

@dtube ! Been trying to add next video in series and d.tube keeps crapping out. First it was steemconnect rejecting the post. Now it is their uploader failing.

@dtube: Do videos still get "pushed out of" the ipfs if not watched for two weeks or so? I have content I would like to move to here from #dlive, but, it is not material that is watched often

Don't think that is happening. Very bad internet. And there would be a definite loss of quality.

So... am I understanding this post correctly to mean that videos won't "disappear" anymore? I've tried looking at some older videos for @ketoconnect and they won't load. Might be a good idea

I have 12 videos on @dlive, and now I'm not sure what to do as postings to @dtube seem to disappear after a while. (post remains, video missing in action).
