Project Van
Yesterday I wrote a post about conflicting feeling of if to save for a house or get a van first that post can be found Here. But we have come to a decision that we will indeed get the van first.
With a few things to bare in mind...
We are certain we want to do things this way, we now have plenty of planning to be doing and even will be ordering a few things for the van already! We have a lot of choices on what van to buy, length and roof height, age, mileage, condition, the list is pretty endless!
But before we get too ahead of ourselves we have one hurdle to get over..
Job Security
I am 7 weeks into a new job, tomorrow will be the start of my eighth week - But I am currently on a "probation" period, during this time I can be let go from the job for any reason. After 12 weeks I will become a permanent employee and have much more job security, This is essential before making this move So we will wait for that before buying a van. After that period we will buy! In the meantime there is much to plan!
I have ordered the first item for the van, I will be sharing that in tomorrows blog
But as of right now a van is very much on that cards!
