Well I had planned to buy some wood today and build a simple frame for the boot - but as I arrived at B&Q the door closed, I really should have checked the time before i set out! doh...

Anyways I thought I would share my basic plans...This idea is either genius or idiotic.

One thing that is always lacking in camper cars is space, cant get around that..usually the seats are removed and a wooden frame for the ply is made in thier place - however I noticed when I put my cool box and camping toilet in the rear foot place that they are both the same height - This got me thinking...Could they be structural? They are both designed for sitting on so I dont see why not!

As you can see the area to the left of the cool box is about 7 inches lower, So this is tomorrows mission - get some wood and make a frame so it will raise the ply to a similar level as the cooler.

The ply will be cut in two so we can access the cooler/toilet as required.

if it does not work it will be back to the drawing board, I have zero woodwork skills so looking for the easiest options but I really hope it does work as i really need the cooler and toilet in this setup!
