Today I had a holiday from work, a kinda "long weekend" - the weather has been great and I am now sitting here drinking a ice cold cider after doing some work to the car camper kit... Costs have increased slightly but I am ok with that, Will do a detailed cost breakdown at the end.

I spoke yesterday about making a wooden frame to make the rear section the same height as for front, but then I had a brainwave...

I mean why not? im already doing that at the front why not the back! I decided to go and pick up some "really useful boxes" the name is correct, I was lucky and got some the right height! These things are very solid..

check out how close they are on the height! I will do some fine tuning by slightly raising the cooler and toilet on yoga mat material to get them spot on..

If you remember yesterday I made a stencil for the first bit of ply, i wasted no time in getting this cut. I am very glad I bought the jigsaw for £25 as this would not have been possible without it.

Looking good! I then used high temperature adessive spray (will not melt in the heat!) and stretched this automotive carpet around, I thin tacked the other side. I was really pleased with the results!

And here it is in the back as it will go, fits perfectly, I know the front section will be harder, but I am really spurred on by todays progress!

Tomorrow I am off work again so I am going to really crack on and get more done!
