Well its officialy the end of the working week for me and im sure many...(YES!) I am now six weeks into my new job and the time is flying past pretty quickly - I thought I would give a bit of an update..

I have taken to the job pretty well - I have made plenty of mistakes as is to be exspected by a new driver - Whislt I can drive well there is other skills involved like how to load the van, how to secure your load properly ect - non of it is rocket science but it does take a bit of getting used to.

One thing I am not getting used to is the physical nature of the job - I have never worked so hard in my life. Today I loaded, unloaded and moved...

A olive tree
80 x 3meter decking board
20x plants
3 x 6 seater patio sets (28kg big as box each very hard to carry)
12 - 6 x 6 fence panels
plus various bags of compost and other crap.

I had so many orders I could not stop all day, no breaks. Technicaly I am allowed an hour but if I took it today id never get back to the yard in time.....

But to say all that I also enjoy the job, im out on my own and im earning money.

£325 is only just above minimum wage, but I am saving about 275 of that each week maybe more - so it all helps!

Half way through my trial period.

Glad for the weekend!:D I know im not the only person in this situation and im sure many of us all feel the same lol.

Enjoy your break:)
