Greetings dear members of this prestigious platform, continuing with my contributions on issues of environmental care and preservation, this time we will study the biological consequences that will prevail as a result of climate change that our planet is presenting and all because of the actions that man has been developing in our quest to improve our quality of life. As usual in my publications of this nature, we will share it through the community of
@project.hope that value and support content of environmental interest.
In this sense, in order to understand the magnitude of the damage we have generated in biological systems, we will rely on a study that has been conducted by a group of scientists attached to the University of Alcalá in Spain, they have focused their attention on the ecological and evolutionary factors that allow us to respond to the enormous variation in tolerance of temperature extremes that exist between species.

By evaluating the two variables mentioned above, researchers have established that the species have evolved on a larger scale their conditions to withstand extreme cold, while high temperatures tend to cause greater damage to the species.
In the opinion of Olalla-Tárraga active researcher of the program:
"Initially the idea of adaptation was running through our heads and we were able to establish that species adapt more easily to cold than to heat. However, our research has allowed us to show that the ability to adapt to cold has evolved up to twice as fast as the ability to adapt to heat."
An example of this is the behavior of red honey ants, which are able to withstand temperatures above 50°C without suffering any affections. The process of adaptation of ants is surprising and, like them, many species adapt more easily to a specific climate in relation to the opposite side of the change.

Another example of the adaptation of species is the one shown by the runner lizards, which have the ability to withstand extreme cold with temperatures reaching 30°C below zero. Therefore, it is to be expected that the physiology of the species is what determines its adaptation process to a given place.
Which allows us to think of some species of limiting or physiological barriers that hinder the survival of the species due to the abrupt end variations that climate change has generated, where the evolutionary process is preponderant in the survival of the genera, since many of the organisms that we know today have been preparing with the passing of the years and have adapted their bodies to the changes that we have generated on the planet.
That is why it is of utmost importance to understand the importance of climate on our planet, which is crucial in the development of life of the different species that inhabit it, if we are clear about its effects we can work to minimize the damage we are generated.
