Hello steemin people!
Besides the joys and pleasure in drawing digitally, which makes life so much easier and allows you to think really BIG, the true pleasure of drawing will (in my opinion) always stick with regular old fashion pencil and paper!
As I did mentioned before, I am at the moment trying to work on my style in Caricature, trying for the first time since being a little boy to involve a bit of colors in it as well. As drawing in digital has been a relative new thing for me, coloring them on PC isn't, while now I feel more the need to improve on the real thing ... on paper!
Even just some grey shading is a funny (and effective)thing to do... Follow below a couple of examples :)
While in the following there is a bit of shading with some slight coloring ... Nothing impressive, they are just my first baby steps!
The funny thing is that I take most of my victims from those very cheap Gossip magazines, and its even funnier to notice each and every time the surprised faces when somebody like me asks for those kind of magazines ... I dont recognize most of the faces on them nor do I really care, I dont watch TV nor do I follow the radio, I just need a lot of faces to practice!
I will step to live caricature even if I dont feel ready for that yet ... Ah, we will see :))
