Steemit was an interesting startup, challenging the ones like Facebook.
The system behind was simple. You post something, you comment, or you like, you get some reward. So more rewards you collect, so more powerful you became.
The powerful ones now write the posts and collect more rewards, whereas the small fish postings do not even get read anymore.
I think that was their poison to immanent failure. There was a recent website remake, changing colors from blue to green, it's like BMW drives now in red/white. Very confusing. Posters left or at least I don't find them anymore.
I don't know where it goes from here, but as I'm unable to raise my concerns there I do it here and hope someone reads it.
