Hello steemians the story I'm sharing today is close to my heart. I hope you will enjoy reading it and will be transported to the realms of abstracts.
"That enigmatic night"
Sometimes I can't get my thoughts wear clothes of my words, said Madhur putting his pen in notepad and started looking out of the window, from which the cold moonlight was falling on his table at that bright night. When cold breeze was blowing and a slight bustle was there near the bush in the garden, just few steps ahead from Madhur's window. He was so lost in that bustle that he could not sense, when Priya came and sat by him.
Huh she shouted in his ear and the fun of that night, breeze and luminous sky was lost due to that sound but, the taste of this sound, this familiar voice seemed more sweet than moonlight and this voice was more fresh than the breeze.
Why is your pen quiet today?? She asked.
Don't know, may be it's not the right night to write on, no new ideas, i am unable to write anything-remarked Madhur.
Let me join my chair with your, said Priya making her chair touch Madhur's. Now they were as close as their chairs.
Look here, into my eyes, said Priya taking his face in her palms. Look into my eyes, write something about me. Let your words shape my thoughts tonight, Madhur and he started writing.
Pain in eyes, smile on face, this is how i described a girl called Priya, when i saw her for the first time on the very first day of my college. Wearing a red suit she was trying to hide herself in the last bench of the class. Perhaps she didn't want to get noticed but, believe me she can't hide herself in a crowd of thousand people. She had magnetism in her, might be this was the reason i could not command my eyes to move away from her.
Since then the effect of this magnetism kept on increasing on me and it seems it is showing its strongest effect tonight. My heart beat is louder than this clock's tik-tik, Priya.
Go on don't stop she said coming closer.
Gradually her glimpse, smiles, laugh, talks, snuggles became doses of my addiction and i became Priyacoholic. I developed a thirst of the nector, her eyes kept on pouring on me. I didn't fell in love with her, i grew in love, still growing in sunshine of her love, her care, taking each step with her.
Seeds sowed in my heart by her first glimpse, have turned into trees leaving their roots deep in my heart. She is the "salvation" for me and yes i have got the salvation living.
Quiet Madhur, don't say anything, let this silence blanket us both tonight. Listen
Priya, what are you doing???
Nothing my love, saying she covered his eyes with black cloth which she carried for a reason.
Madhur, she invoked, switching off the lights. Now game begins, Madhur, find me. I am lost somewhere in the darkness of this room. Let's see how strong my magnetism is.
Priya, Priya Ok i will find you with in two secs, stretching his hands, colliding with walls said Madhur. Ten minutes gone but n he could neither find her nor her voice. Irritated he pulled his blindfold away shouting, Priya, Priya but, there was no Priya in the room.
Why Priya? Why did you go? Why did you do that? Asking these questions he sat on his chair and found a paper written, i would come to read the rest, my love and he continued expanding what he left incomplete and we, the walls witnessed the whole, at that "enigmatic night".!
