Hi, coffeelovers! ☕,✨

Is there anything better than a good cup of coffee to brighten up a rainy day? Today I want to share with you a delicious discovery that completely changed my coffee routine.

As the last quarter of the year rolls around, coffee shops start to fill with the seasonal aromas and flavors, and my favorite coffee shop really outdid itself with an offer I simply couldn't refuse.

Let's imagine this: a traditional espresso base infused with notes of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. That sounds incredible on its own, doesn't it? But the real highlight was pairing it with a classic Venezuelan Ponche de Crema (our traditional creamy drink made with milk, eggs, vanilla, and a touch of rum).

When I tasted it, the comforting aroma immediately transported me to the holiday season. It had the freshness and elegance of something between an iced latte and an affogato, topped off with that subtle, warm aftertaste of aged rum.

Sometimes we overlook local traditions, but finding them reimagined in a cup of coffee was a comfort to the soul. It was definitely worth stepping away from my usual brewed coffee.

Do you also mix coffee with traditional New Year's drinks in your countries? I'd love to hear how you enjoy it! 👇🏽✨
