For the first time since I started working in my previous company, during that time I was on my 5th year, I joined my officemates/friends to Biliran.
Due to finances I usually opt not to travel because I think it's not that important and I can always travel in the future. However for certain reason they (friends) was able to convince me or I was just manipulated馃ぃ.
We were a pack of eleven people. We borded Roble Shipping going to Ormoc at night. Since I am from Leyte riding the ship at night was not new but most of my friends were from Cebu and has never been to Ormoc. Thus during the night some was not able to sleep especially when you can feel the wave, I still do get bothered with wave honestly.
Once we arrive in Ormoc we had two cars waiting for us. Since from Ormoc we need to travel going to Biliran. I forgot how long the travel was but I can clearly remember the scenery, it was breathtaking.
And of course since first timers we need to take a snap in the bridge 馃槈馃ぃ馃ぃ.
During the trip our Engineer friend acted as our tour guide since he was originally from Kananga Leyte. We checked in Agta Resort.
We also visited Sambawan Island, which during that time according to locals do not have electricity. I thought it's really true that some far island are being left behind with advancement. Did I mention going to Sambawan we just hitched with other foreigners going there thus, we were free. 馃槈
After Sambawan we also went to other islands which I now forget the names but they are not yet developed and nobody lives there so it was really an isolated island.
The next day we were at Tinago Falls. Tinago in waray is "hidden". Sure it was hidden although I guess they now experience flock of visitors because the way was already pavement.
After a two day exploration that's end my ever first travel for leisure.
After that travel I had to part ways from the company. Glad I took that travel and get to bond with my friends I worked for five (5) years.馃様
Been to Biliran? Or anywhere in Leyte?
Love always,
