This is a concept I still grapple with regularly. I can look around and observe that every creature on the planet is entitled to its share of things, but the idea that we as people are in the same boat is hard to square with cultural programming.
The artificial scarcity of dollars structurally reinforces the lie that the world's abundance isn't ours. I think this scarcity instills in us a baseline fear that's manipulated heavily by the powers that be.
