This week, for the always pleasant Splinterlands contest, it was the turn of a kind bridesmaid, Nectar Queen...
It is a card that I sincerely like, I don't use it very often, as I believe it, despite having very interesting qualities, a little fragile, in the sense that it must be inserted in conditions where its sides can be enhanced positive and limit its negative characteristics...
But what are these conditions in which I use Nectar Queen ??
The type of battle where the most frequent use is that of Earthquake, where thanks to its ability to fly it manages to avoid the loss of 2 lives at each turn of play, and then it really becomes a very interesting card...
Nectar Queen belongs to the Earth Element, Lyanna is the only Summoner that I have currently upgraded to level 4, so, being Nectar Queen a community card, the I was able to bring it to the 5th level without major problems, where it develops a firepower equal to 4 units per hit hit, associated with a protection level equal to 4 and 12 lives, while when I manage to raise it to the next level it will be really lethal , because it will develop the counter-attack feature, which will make it even more attractive to use.
But let's get to the actual battle where I used our Nectar Queen, briefly illustrating the characteristics of this game...
The overall availability of Mana was 24 units, associated with the conditions of Earthquake and the fact that only Odd Mana cards can be deployed, for which Nectar Queen was overbearingly one of my best possible candidates to take the field, and so it was, together with these other adventure companions...
Stone Golem
In first position I placed the Stone Golem, at the cost of 5 Mana I deploy a very solid card, which only loses 1 life per game turn, and limits the damage when hit, boosted to the 4th level , being a Rare card is the best for those like me who has the Earth Summoner at 4th level...
Brownie
In second position I deployed Brownie, mainly for the reason of wasting a blow to the opponents, if they had a card that in the first round of the game had fired a blow to the second lines, unfortunately after the first round Brownie would have been eliminated in any case due to Earthquake mode...
Screeching Vulture
Skipping the third position occupied by our Nectar Queen, the fourth position is for one of my favorite cards ever, very rarely, when I select the Earth Element, I give up deploying Screeching Vulture, because this card has many beautiful features, logically enhanced at the 5th level at each round of game delivers a hit of intensity 2, with protection 4 and 3 overall lives, without forgetting the great quality of the opportunity, intended in the sense that it attacks the opponent with less lives...
Earth Elemental
In fifth and final position I deployed Earth Elementhal, a rare card with low cost in terms of mana and very valid, especially in the rear, being able, at the 4th level to which I brought it, to regenerate itself by 2 lives at every turn of the game, it is able to deliver a force stroke 2 every time it is called into question.
And here are the opposing sides ready to take the field for the battle, we both had chosen the Earth Element, with very similar formations, I had the feeling that I would have had the best in this battle, but ......, a moment , I don't want to reveal the end of this game, you can easily see it by clicking this link...
