I've been using this app for a while now, and I think it's time to share with my readers this awesome app. The app I'll be reviewing in this post is called Simple notes. Since I've been using this app for a while now and I've seen how good it is. I was curious to know how an app as good as this ranks on the play store search engine when 'notes' is typed. Surprisingly, it wasn't among the first 40 note apps that popped up on the search result, 'what', that's really sad. I don't want to say bad about those apps but I've used some of those apps and I can say they are nowhere as good as this app.
So I decided to make a post about the app and make people know how cool it is.
What is Simple Notes.
The name Simple notes already define the app. It's a simple app for taking notes. Simple Notes was developed by Tibor Kaputa aka tibbi has part of a simplemobile tools series. Simple notes have had 89 version released since its initial release on June 5, 2016. Tibbi has different apps developed to this simplemobile tool series.

My thought on simple Notes
After using this app and knowing its features, it feels weird to call it simple note. My guess is that the is an app out there that is named 'advance note app' but probably has fewer features compared to this simple notes app.
According to its developers, the app is easy and fast to use than other note apps. When I want to type an idea quickly, the first app that comes to my mind is simple notes. When the app is launched, there's is a text box ready for me to type what I want. After typing I simply exit the app. That's one of the beauties of simple notes. The app automatically saves my note when I exit the app. So I don't worry about pressing the save button.
I'll be sharing its common features that all note app should have, and then it special features most note apps does not have.

With these features, I was able to perform the basic things any regular note app can do.
Here's simple notes special features
Autosave
This is probably the reason I'm so in love with this app. This feature takes off all the setups stress and makes it fast and easy to write. Just imagine you're walking or having a discussion with some friends, then an idea or a thought just pops into your head?. So you're rushing to write down this idea before you forget. Won't you prefer an app like simple notes, that lets you start typing without going through those long process of setups? Plus you never have to worry about saving your note before exiting the app. Simple notes takes care of that for you, with the autosave feature.
Customize color
I've used some pro version note app, and the least I've noticed is they let you change the app theme only. But with Simple notes, I was able to change the font color, background color, and app color. This feature is not common among note apps.
Export as file / Export all notes as files
You probably have seen this feature elsewhere but I bet you it different from how it is on simple notes. When exporting with simple notes unlike other apps I was able to type any file format I want. If I want my file to be accessible through Ms word, I simply export the file using 'docx' extension. With this feature, I'm able to create the extension I want my file to be. Cool right.
Word count
The word count feature is another nice feature. Now I don't have to copy my text to Ms word or any online word counter site. Write in my simple notes app I can see the number of words.
Make links and email clickable
This feature enables you to click any URL type on simple notes and it will to you to your default browser. Isn't it cool? I no longer have to copy links to my browser, all I do is enable links and email to be clickable.
Simple notes Vs stock app
My device is infinix note 4, and it comes with an inbuilt note app so I'll be comparing the two apps. Both apps are designed to look simple, and easy to use. With my phones note app I can only do so little compare to simple notes. With Simple notes, I could export files with any file extension I want, change the font color, make links clickable, enable word count, choose any position to align my text. All these features are not available on my stock app. Although these two apps look simple, one is packed with wonderful features compare to the other.
conclusion
While you're probably using an overrated note app with little trivial features. I'm glad to tell you that just a few scrolls down, there is an awesome note app packed with great features called 'Simple Notes' with an orange color logo. Simple notes, as the name implies, is easy to use without any time wasting setups. I strongly recommend simple notes to anyone looking for a great note app.
